Pia Eikaas´s (B. 1985) artistic practice is centered around city spaces, through the act of flâneusing and with a queer feminist lens she tries to examine how our cities are organized and what stories they hold.

She is an artist working with photography and installation in the expanded field, elements like water and textiles are reoccurring materials.
In 2023 she has been a resident at Cité des Arts in Paris, where she has been working on a larger photographic project, a project 10 years in the making. Looking at water in cities as a possible potential for telling queer stories and examining the potential of a retelling of the city through the medium of analogue photography. Creating sapphic fragments, mapping and un-mapping, a kind of public intimacy.
